Well, the Disney+ panel at D23 certainly got the job done in terms of generating excitement for Disney's new streaming platform. Showing off an impressive trailer for The Mandalorian as well as announcing new Marvel Studios (Kamala Khan!!!) and Lizzie McGuire TV shows got a lot of positive publicity for Disney+. Next up in terms of high-profile D23 panels is the one for Walt Disney Studios, which will show off upcoming films from Disney's big theatrical studios that provide family-friendly content (so no 20th Century Fox or Fox Searchlight), Walt Disney Studios, PIXAR, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm.

Well, to quote Harold Hutchins from Captain Underpants, "Here we go again!" Yes folks, it's once again time for Marvel Studios to put on its dog-and-pony show at the San Diego Comic-Con. If there's one thing the companies known for beyond taking shamefully long to get either a person of color or a woman to headline one of its movies, it's for putting on one h*ck of a show at Comic-Con. I'll be live-blogging the festivities which will start at 7:30 PM central time! A Thor: Ragnarok trailer is all but guaranteed to show up but may we also see some new casting announcements for Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man And The Wasp and Captain Marvel? Considering this is going to be the longest Comic-Con panel the companies ever put on, anything's possible!

This morning, I woke up, and as usual, checked my phone, seeing what was new on the interwebs. The first app I opened was Instagram, where I saw a post declaring that Spider-Man was back home at Marvel. It took a few moments for my brain to register this...was this real? Am I dreaming? A quick check on everywhere, from Slashfilm, to Comingsoon.net, told me that this was no dream. This was an all-too real reality.

Marvel's Winter/Spring 2015 TV Shows Have Airdates!

2015 will be a monumental year for Marvel Studios. The company is concluding the second phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with their features The Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Ant-Man, while also launching a series of shows on Netflix that start next year with Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Plus, I'm hoping the Marvel One-Shots make a triumphant return of some kind. But let's not forget about their TV offerings on ABC, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and forthcoming miniseries Agent Carter!

The Man Without Fear has spent 11 years away from the world of cinematic media, thanks to a poorly received 2003 feature starring Ben Affleck. But Daredevil is finally back home at Marvel Studios, and the company has big plans for the character in 2015. He'll be the first of five TV shows the media empire will create for Netflix and at the New York Comic-Con today, they revealed a first look at Daredevil, which you can catch below!

Iron Man 4 Is Happening....Maybe. Sort Of. I Dunno.

Jurassic Park 4. Any potential new season of Arrested Development. Iron Man 4. These are just three projects that have been in development forever, that constantly are brought up in interviews. Fans dream of seeing them, but weirdly, despite my adoration of Iron Man, I'm cool with no Iron Man 4. Now, if there was one, I'm sure I'd be pumped and jazzed for it, but right now, I can honestly say I'm OK with leaving Iron Man in its current form as a trilogy.

After Marvel's extremely risk plan for combining stand-alone movies into one massive feature film called The Avengers paid off big time, studios began to scramble to join in on the newest cinematic craze; shared universes. The first franchise not from Marvel Studios to test this out was The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which took it's 2012 Andrew Garfield reboot and tired to stretch it to include hints at future spin-offs and sequels. The film was a calamity quality-wise and disappointing financially, which you'd think studios would take as a sign that not all movies need a shared universe.

Oh no, it's as essential as any other part of the film, with studios grabbing release dates far, far in advance in order to give their film the best possible advantage financially. Studios have always been eager to pick the best release dates possible, but recently, two studios have been using it as a way to compete with each other on a massive scale.

The photo above was posted on James Gunns Facebook on Friday, and man did it make my entire day. As someone on the Autism spectrum (Aspergers Syndrome to be exact), it just warmed my heart to see someone else on the spectrum finding inspiration in one of the many delightful characters from Guardians of The Galaxy. Seeing that movie again yesterday, I was once again amazed at just how all around excellent it is, and honestly found it to be even better than I remembered. As the crowd departed the auditorium after that delightful post-credits scene, I had a big grin on my face from the entire film, as well as realizing that two of the Guardians are perfect cinematic representations of people on the Autism spectrum.

It's been quite a big week for Marvel Studios 2015 film Ant-Man. Filming started on Monday, which prompted a massive casting announcement that brought several big and talented actors to the movie. Now, we've got our first look at Scott Lang, the lead character of the film being played by Paul Rudd. Check out the first picture of the guy below!

My unwarranted earlier reaction to Peyton Reed being chosen as the director of Ant-Man feels hideously narrow-minded in retrospect. The dude not only has a lot more beloved works under his belt than a forgettable Jim Carry vehicle, and I'm super sorry for saying such poor words way back when. I'm way more confident in the film now, thanks not only to the phenomenal artistic success of Marvel Studios recent movie Guardians, but also Reeds hideous treatment by fans on the internet and at Comic-Con. The movie starts filming today, and already has dynamite cast that includes Paul Rudd playing Scott Lang, who is the titular superhero, Michael Douglas as his mentor, Evangeline Lilly as the mentors daughter, Corey Stall as the anatgonist and Michael Pena.

Ranking All of The Marvel Studios Post-Credits Scenes From Best To Worst

Post-credits scenes have been around for ages, but very rarely did they do more than have Ferris Bueller tell you to go home or an extra gag at the end of a Pirates of The Caribbean movie. Today though, they're a major part of the moviegoing experience for numerous films, particularly ones coming out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. To date, all ten of their films have had a stinger of some kind, and three of them even managed to have two. Now, I've taken it upon myself to rate all 13 of these Post-Credits scene in order from Worst to Best. Join me won't you, for this exciting voyage into mystery!

We've seen a lot of amazing adventures from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the interlocking film series that includes the Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and Avengers films (it also includes the singular The Incredible Hulk). They've changed the face of cinema in recent years, with The Avengers encouraging every movie studio and their grandma to enter the business of creating franchises that constantly crossover into each other. The only one to emerge so far (though the Universal Monster movies are the next up to follow this tactic) was The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which ditched coherent storytelling in favor of setting up endless amounts of sequels.

Comic-Con is all wrapped up now, but the memories will live on forever, namely the ones that occurred about 24 hours ago, when Marvel Studios took the stage to make another memorable panel in Hall H. The studio is pretty much the king of Comic-Con at this point, and they affirmed such a status by showing off footage from The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man.
