Marvel Studios Just Released New Release Dates And Ant-Man and Avengers 2 Comic-Con Posters!!!!

Comic-Con starts today, and as one might expect, Marvel Studios has quite the presence there. They'll be presenting their panel in Hall H Saturday, which will show off their upcoming slate of films. Just ahead of that, they've not only added numerous dates to their schedule, but also released Comic-Con exclusive posters for the two movies they'll be promoting the most at their panel; The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man.

I've failed you all as a Marvel junkie, as Marvel Studios actually announced most of these dates last week, yet I failed to report it. Luckily, they announced one more in 2018 last night that gives me a chance to redeem myself! Marvel Studios has taken up a slew of release dates in 2017, 2018 and 2019, with the first two years being particularly important since they'll be releasing three movies in those two particular years for the first time ever. The dates they've chosen are:

May 5, 2017
July 28, 2017
November 3, 2017
May 4, 2018
July 6, 2018
November 2, 2018
May 3, 2019

I doubt we'll get any movies to go with those dates at this years Comic-Con, since Marvels common practice in the past has been to announce movies only two years in advance. Still, that won't stop Marvel Studios from marking their territory far in advance, and considering Batman V. Superman is trying to attack their trademark early May date, that may not be a bad idea.

Finally, Marvel Studios has released a couple of Comic-Con exclusive posters for their 2015 films The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man. It appears that The Avengers ones won't be the last one, as I'd guess each of the other Avengers characters (which hopefully includes The Vision!!) will get their own poster too. I'll bring you those as they come out, but for now, behold Scarlet Witch and Iron Man fighting Ultrons army!

And now, our first look at how the world of Ant-Man will look! Presenting a poster (made up of concept art) for Ant-Man!! Doesn't it look awesome????

Splendid stuff. Cannot wait to see what else Marvel has up its sleeve this weekend! One piece of bad news; in-depth coverage of Comic-Con news means Thursday and Friday Columns I Wanna See That! and The List!!! won't be going up this week. Movie reviews will continue unabated of course.
