Well, this is huge news. The Punisher is coming to Daredevils second season, and he'll be played by Jon Bernthal, the actor who broke out big time on The Walking Dead playing Shane Walsh. Since then, he's had major supporting turns in The Wolf of Wall Street and Fury and will have upcoming turns in 2015 features Me, Earl And The Dying Girl, We Are Your Friends and Sicario.

Tom Hardy recently made a public declaration of his desire to play The Punisher, and while he would have been great in the role, Bernthal is also a superb pick for the character. The dude can certainly command a menacing presence, and I can't wait to see him and Matt Murdoch square off next season.
