Matt Damon Is Marooned On Mars In First Trailer For The Martian

Getting lost anywhere sounds like quite the stressful situation to me, but what if one were to be stranded on an entirely different planet? That is the predicament at the center of The Martian, the newest film from Ridley Scott which just debuted its first trailer, which you can watch below!

Oh my God, that cast is flawless. After The Skeleton Twins, I'm pumped as hell for the idea of Kristen Wiig doing more drama, and seeing Chiwetel Eljiofer in any film always makes me happy. Plus, Jessica Chastain guys. Jessica Chastain!!!! She's so perfect! Even aside from that superb cast, this actually looks to be quite an interesting film, and I love how the trailer really sells a stressful, but hopeful atmosphere. There's a lot of interesting movies opening on Thanksgiving (Midnight Special, X-Mas, The Good Dinosaur) and if this first trailer for The Martian is any indication this movie just joined that class with ease!
