The Bridge Of Spies Trailer Has Tom Hanks Stuck In The Cold War

The customary timetable for Steven Spielberg, when making movies, is that, after taking a few years off, he'll do not one, not two but typically three movies in a 12-18 month duration. That tradition continues this Fall, when we'll get one of two Spielberg features that are set to debut between now and July 2016. That first movie, Bridge of Spies, just dropped a trailer you can watch below!

A number of moments of this trailer feel a bit overdone in trying to make the film look "ACTION-PACKED", but I have a hunch that's just this piece of marketing trying to coerce moviegoers and not an indicator of the actual movie, which actually looks quite fascinating! It's great to see Tom Hanks reunite with Steven Spielberg for the first time in 11 years (their last collaboration was the 2004 effort The Terminal), and the intriguing plot seems to promise a lot of suspense and thoughtful storytelling. Any new Spielberg movie gets my attention, but this one truly has the potential to deliver the goods!
