Trailer For Top Five Analyzes Career Of Chris Rock

Chris Rock has been an on again/off again presence in the world of cinema, with Grown Ups and Madagascar movies being pretty much the majority of his recent contributions to the world of film. His next starring effort, Top Five, is one he wrote and directed, so it's certainly seems to be one he's passionate about. Check out the first trailer for it below.

I didn't really know anything about this movie before I watched the trailer, so imagine my shock at how many big names are in it. The presence Whoopi Goldberg, Cedric The Entertainer, Luiz Guzman, Cedric The Entertainer, Tracy Morgan and Kevin Hart pop up for brief moments, much to my surprise. That's probably the most notable thing about this trailer, which looks watchable enough, but the plot feels routine and the jokes aren't that great. Still, maybe they're hiding the more dramatic aspects of the feature that fare better than the gags. We shall see.
