In Trailer For Left Behind, Nicolas Cage Takes On The Apocalypse, Not THE BEEEEEEESSSS!!!!

As I said in my review of The Frozen Ground, I like Nicolas Cage a whole lot, but I'm not gonna sit here and tell you many of his recent films weren't God-awful. It looks like that trend will, unfortunately, continue with this dreadful looking new movie Left Behind, which from the studio that brought you God's Not Dead, an easy contender for one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Cage seems to be at his best when he can project some sort of spunk or creativity in his performances. Whenever he's asked to be a simply straight man, as he is here, things just don't work out. If the trailers any indication though, he'll be the least of the movies problems. Wooden acting and laughable dialogue sprout up like weeds in this trailer, but it being based on a popular book might make it at least financially successful. And for Cage's sake, hopefully, if this thing makes cash, it'll lead to him getting some better roles in the world of cinema.
