Final Trailer For Big Hero 6 Is Full of Laughs, Actions And Emotion

One thing that I think is a major factor in Walt Disney Animation Studios resurgence is the much more effective marketing used for their features starting with Tangled. Starting with that 2010 film, trailers for the studios films were extremely memorable and also very well-made. The short trailer for Frozen last summer that simply showed Sven and Olaf engaging in shenanigans was despised by many on the interwebs, but I myself found it more than amusing and any time it played at a movie theater, that thing just went over like gangbusters.

Big Hero 6 had a similarly memorable and simple teaser trailer, but now it's full-length theatrcial trailer trailer has arrived and wow, it's incredible. Just like that terrific second trailer Wreck-It Ralph had two years back, it really gives you more of a perspective on the emotion and action in the film, as well as more glimpses of the humor present in the feature. One heads up though, it does have a pretty spoilery plot point in it, so be aware of that before you watch this enormously entertaining trailer.

I need to see this right now. I'm a massive Disney animation fan, as well as a pretty obvious Marvel fanboy, so combining the two sounds like promising concept from the get-go. But what really gets me in this trailer is the emotional moments, which look really well executed and thoughtful. And of course, Baymax continues to be hilarious, his little punch on that door needs to be a GIF right this second.
