I was a huge fan of X-Men: Days of Future Past, and have been eagerly awaiting the next X-Men feature which arrives in 2016. The forthcoming film, entitled X-Men: Apocalypse, doesn't have concrete plot details yet, but it seems it will primarily involve the characters from the X-Men: First Class films. Now a director has been placed in charge of the upcoming X-Men film, a very familiar name to those as invested in the franchise as I am.
Yep, Bryan Singer is back to direct Xavier and his mutant comrades. After handling this summers X-Men: Days of Future Past and the very first two X-Men movies, Singer will start shooting this epic film next Spring. Rumor has it 20-year old versions of famous X-Men members like Cyclops and Storm will appear, and I do hope they get good actors to play the characters. Someone on, I think /Film mentioned Dylan O'Brien as a potential candidate to play a younger Scott Summers and that actually seems like a perfect guy for the role.
