Wanna See Bradley Cooper Doing The Voice Work For Rocket Raccoon?? (From The Interwebs)

A slow news day today (nobody wanted to compete for media attention with the Paul Blart 2 trailer coming out later today) doesn't mean there's nothing to talk about in the world of pop culture. The super duper buzzed drama Whiplash finally enters over 400 theaters this coming weekend, and CBS Films is now getting some distribution help from Lionsgate. But here's something guaranteed to brighten up your day; Bradley Cooper doing some voice work for Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of The Galaxy. Check it out below!

Cooper was the biggest question mark of Guardians for me prior to seeing the feature. Would he just be a dull celebrity voice solely hired for name value (like many actors in features from Blue Sky Studios and DreamWorks Animation) or someone of actual substance? Thankfully, he didn't just put in decent work, he did an excellent job at giving life and energy to such a unique critter. The best part though is how well Cooper conveys the emotional moments involving the character, being a major part of why they land as well as they do.

It's cool to see Cooper in the voice booth putting his all into the character, and above all else, it just gets me even more excited to pick up Guardians of The Galaxy on Blu-Ray.
