Aside from a little teaser trailer that didn't show any footage from this past summer, Kenneth Branagh's take on Cinderella for Disney has been really quiet. That changes now, as a new trailer popped up this morning, just in time to be shown on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One this weekend. Check out the new trailer below.
That doesn't look nearly as bad as this past summers wretched Maleficent, though this also doesn't look too remarkable. I'm surprised at how closely to the original Disney feature this hews, though maybe I should just be glad no modernizing has taken place which could potentially involve Cinderella twerking at the ball. I dunno, maybe it's just because the 1950 animated feature Disney previously made based on this character wasn't a particular favorite of mine, but this doesn't look noticeably interesting to me, though I do like seeing Cate Blanchett as a villain.
