Did Ben Affleck Kill His Wife In The Trailer For Gone Girl?

Three years ago, The Social Network hit theaters and changed this particular moviegoers life forever. It was one of those movies that's just so amazingly well made, it never fails to boggle your mind. The following year, the director of that fantastic movie, David Fincher, handled a new interpretation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and then took a three year break that ends with this falls Gone Girl. Here's the newest trailer for that new movie.

So, um, yeah. That looks all kinds of terrific. Ben Affleck seems like a perfect fit for the complicated  lead character, while Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry are great to see in a major drama like this. But what I love best about this trailer is how it effectively gets you on edge about this whole situation. Nothing graphically violent is shown, but it feels like something truly terrifying is lurking behind the corner of every shot. Can't wait to see how and if that translates to the final product. Now if only we could hear some of Trent Reznors score for this movie!
