This axiom gets repeated quite frequently throughout the fourth season of Bojack Horseman, a season of television that may just be the best season yet in an absolutely phenomenal program. It's obvious what it means (the future is unavoidable) but its recurring usage throughout the 12 episodes of Bojack Horseman's fourth season demonstrate how much the concept of time plays in the overall season. The past, the present and the future all collide frequently through Bojack Horseman's fourth season, resulting in storytelling that, even considering this shows meditative qualities, totally took me by surprise in the absolute best way possible.

Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, who form up the comedic band The Lonely Island, are probably among the bigger comedic voices running my generation. All of their SNL skits from "Dick In A Box" to "Motherlover" were instant viral hits, and even their non musical bits became quotable bits that were universally beloved in my age group. I myself loved these guys and their inventive comedic sensibilities that more than a whiff of Monty Python in it, but one big blind spot for me was the trios only major feature film; Hot Rod.

I've thought the overwhelmingly negative reception to this new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie has been extremely over the top for a while now. I have my concerns over the movie too (could they get someone besides the director of Battle: Los Angeles to handle this thing?), but so far, the film has looked like a perfectly fine summer film. Even the turtles redesigns haven't bothered me that much (the versions of these CGI creatures without noses that fans on the internet made look much creepier to me).
