Capone Is No Ordinary Gangster Movie, For Better and For Worse

The best way to explain what kind of movie Capone is is by saying that if this movie had gotten a theatrical release, it would have garnered an F CinemaScore. Theaters across the nation would have been filled with audiences reacting to Capone finishing not with applause but with cries of "That's it?!?" and befuddlement. This is not meant as a way of saying that Capone is a bad movie but rather that it's not going to be to everyone's taste. Anyone expecting anything remotely resembling a traditional gangster movie or biopic drama will be understandably disappointed. Capone is its own creature, one that's messy as heck and isn't quite as strange as it could have been. However, it's also frequently intriguing and has go-for-broke energy that's hard to resist.

Get A Feel Of The Cast, Scope And Humor Of Fantastic Four With New Trailer!

A lot of this summers big blockbusters (Ant-Man, Terminator: Genisys) have been releasing trailers recently, likely in order to make sure their shown on Avengers: Age of Ultron. This trend continues tomorrow when Jurassic World releases its new trailer, and now 20th Century Fox has gotten into the game by releasing a new look at the Fant4stic, er, Fantastic Four.

First Trailer For Fantastic Four Reboot Has Finally Arrived!!!

For ages, the new Fantastic Four movie has been surrounded in secrecy, and has drawn the ire of many on the internet not just because of that secrecy, but also because what little information has been released has become quite controversial. The movie has some kind of found-footage approach? Doctor Doom as a blogger? Cast members being urged not to read the comics that inspired the movie? Tons of stuff that's generated discussion, but I've tried to keep myself from passing too much of a judgement until some actual footage dropped.

While a fantastic trailer of Avengers: Age of Ultron has put that film on everyone's radar, the other two superhero movies for Summer 2015 have been flying a bit more under the radar so far. One of them, Ant-Man, has at least unveiled official photos from the production and some behind-the-scenes footage, while the other, The Fantastic Four, has given us zip, zilch, nada aside from a photo of a stand-in for the movies version of The Thing.

I told myself I wouldn't be posting rumors on this site. I wouldn't bring you endless rumor updates like"Lupita Nyong'O was seen eating frozen yogurt, so she'll be playing the Star Wars version of the Spaceballs character Frogurt in Star Wars 7!" solely for pageviews (though I'd likely think differently if I had any ad revenue coming from this site) That being said, the fact that the subject of this rumor has posted a video on Twitter that seems to indirectly confirm it, I'll give this one some credence.
