It's...not awful. In fact, it's surprisingly entertaining. Those may sound like statements that are solely damning with faint praise, and they mostly are, but I must admit that with all the elements working against Night At The Museum: Secret Of The Tomb, it turns out OK. A five and a half year long gap since the second movie, sloppy visuals and a middling plot are prominent flaws, but there's at least some moments of redeeming value.

With Paramount Pictures announcing today that The Gambler will go into wide release on Christmas Day, that means the amount of movies opening in wide release between now and Christmas Day is nine. Seth Rogen and James Francos Epic Plan To Kill Kim-Jong Un Has Been Delayed Until Christmas Day

The newest feature film from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the duo who directed This Is The End, is called the Interview has been met by controversy ever since it debuted its first trailer. Considering the plot revolves around Rogen and James Francos plan to kill Kim-Jong Un, this shouldn't be too surprising. However, several North Korea officials considering the film an act of war certainly does feel like a massive overreaction to the project.

There's Another Night At The Museum Coming Out And Here's The First Miserable Trailer For It

I have a soft spot in my heart for the first two Night At The Museum movies. They're just clever and fun endeavors that contain some great actors (Amy Adams, Hank Azaria, Steve Coogan, Owen Wilson) yukking it up as recognizable characters from history. I actually thought 20th Century Fox was letting the franchise go after the second movie in 2009, which I thought a nice gesture on their part. Unfortunately, the franchise is back, and boy howdy does it look bad. Check out the trailer below and prepare for a rant of mammoth proportions.
