Fighting With My Family Is A Heartfelt And Delightful Wrestling Story

Inspirational underdog sports stories never go out of style and if you're ever wondering why that is, Fighting with My Family provides some ample proof on why this subgenre endures. Though its a story that involves people beating the heck out of each other, there's also a tender heart to this story that makes it shockingly effective as a piece of emotionally affecting storytelling. I have no real knowledge of wrestling, much less the world of wrestling conglomerate WWE, yet I found myself totally engaged by this tale of two wrestlers chasing life-long dreams and dealing with a reality that never quite lives up to those fantasies that they've clung to for so long.

How to Not Succeed In Business Without Really Trying

Well Vince Vaughn, here you are again. After starring in two big duds in 2013 (namely, The Delivery Man, one of the worst films of that year), you've returned to movie theaters...for some reason. His newest feature, Unfinished Business, has no problem continuing his streak for creating low-quality comedic films, despite a cast full of well known and talented names that could have brought the laughs in another, more competently produced film.

The most buzzed about role for him next year is his major part in the second season of True Detective, but he's also got a new R-rated comedy being released as well. At this point, my respect and admiration for Edgar Wright is far beyond most artists in the entire world, let alone just ones in the film industry. The man, along with frequent collaborators Joe Cornish and Simon Pegg, has this ability for being able to incorporate hefty subject matter like growing up and letting go of the past into stories that are full of laughs and excitement. I've seen most of the directors works, but one major work of his that I somehow hadn't seen was Hot Fuzz. Now that that's changed, I can honestly say I regret not seeing such an utterly exquisite movie earlier than I did.
