Skadoosh! Po And His Dad Reunite In The First Kung Fu Panda 3 Trailer!!

Kung Fu Panda is one of those ideas that shouldn't work in theory, but man oh man, does it ever excel. The first one was such a charming and well made adventure, and surprisingly, the sequel was no slouch either. Kung Fu Panda 2 also surpassed expectations and wound up being a worthy successor to the original. Hopefully the third movie, Kung Fu Panda 3, follows suit and becomes another mighty Po adventure, and the first footage from the movie can be seen in the first trailer, which you can watch below.

Yeah, not too much to go on here, though it at least gives viewers a chance to hear Bryan Cranstons vocals as the father of Po. Plus, the cast list at the end reaffirms that J.K. Simmons is in this one, and his participation in any given film is never a bad thing! Actually, what I find most interesting about this teaser is how it compares to the first Chinese trailer, which emphasizes dramatic visuals and showcases the features villain. I wish audiences in America got these sort of trailers heavy of hefty dramatic content, but considering how successful comedic animated features like Despicable Me are in the USA, maybe it's just smart marketing that trailers for the newest Po adventure focus on gags above all else.
