The cast of Marvels Fall 2016 film, Doctor Strange, continues to expand! Benedict Cumberbatch will play the titular hero, and Tilda Swinton is in talks to play his mentor, The Ancient One. And now, nearly five months after first hearing about him being in talks to appear in Doctor Strange, Chiwetel Ejiofor has been confirmed to be in the movie as Baron Mordo, a nefarious villain!
I doubt Mordo is the only villain Strange will have to face (I'm hoping Morgan La Fay pops up as a major antagonist) but Mordo is a crucial part of Stranges mythology in the comics, and getting a talented guy like Ejiofor onboard to play him makes me confident he could become a really memorable foe. So far, the cast for Doctor Strange has been quite exciting (especially the Swinton news) and I can't wait to see who else gets added in here.
