Here's another exciting entry in this Holiday themed column, 25 Days Of Christmas Pop Culture! From now until Christmas Eve, I'll be tackling one piece of Christmas pop culture! It could be a book, movie, TV special, song....so long as it's festive for this time of the year, it'll be checked out in this daily column!

Here's a shocking secret; Spongebob is a perky person. The absorbent fella is rarely without a smile on his face and something upbeat to say. In the first three seasons of his show, Spongebob Squarepants, Spongebob was an irresistible lead that was always fun to watch and enjoy. In the second season episode, Christmas Who?, what really made SpongeBob such a captivating program is on full display.

New Star Wars Television Show Gets An Extended Trailer

I absolutely loved Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and was super sad to see it go. The major reason the team behind that show called it quits was to start up the first major project between Lucasfilm and Disney: Star Wars: Rebels. This CGI animated TV show will start airing regularly on Disney XD shortly after an hour long special debuts on Disney Channel in October. Just before its presentation at Comic-Con this weekend, Disney has debuted an extended trailer you can watch below.

PACIFIC RIM 2 IS HAPPENING OH YES YES OH YES YES OH YES

Just to let you guys know...Pacific Rim 2 has been set for April 7, 2017!!! All the Kaiju and Jaegars will be back to take part if deliriously well made Guillermo Del Toro mayhem!! Guillermo Del Toro told Buzzfeed this about the awesome sounding film:
