Dwayne Johnson Watches As The Sky, Er, California, Falls In San Andreas Trailer

Man, do I love disaster movies. Loved 'em when I was 12, still do now. The likes of Armageddon, 2012 and Independence Day entranced me with their spectacle and depictions of people doing courageous things under tremendous circumstances. Now, Dwayne Johnson gets to star in one of these kinds of features in San Andreas, a Summer 2015 movie that just got it's first trailer, which you can watch below.

Man, that's a serious trailer. All these summer blockbusters trailers just seem like such downers, without really providing an effective reason why (like the excellent trailers for Mad Max: Fury Road and The Avengers: Age of Ultron did). But hey, Paul Giamatti is in there, which is a cool surprise, so that's neat. One last question; why does Dwayne Johnson feel so restrained here? His clothing alone suggest more "stay-at-home dad" than the kind of B-A who took on Vin Diesel in Fast Five.
