So who exactly is Inhumans aimed at? I'm not just producing this question because I despised it and that means nobody else could ever like it, I'm producing this question because it seems like it was produced from the ground up to both irritate comic book geeks and confuse newbies. Those well-versed in the mythology of these Inhumans characters form their half-a-century of appearances in various Marvel comics will be befuddled at how all the stylized elements of these characters have been tossed away in the name of budget constraints and replaced with thoroughly boring storytelling. Meanwhile, the world of the Inhumans and especially the superpowers of individual characters are so poorly explained that I can't imagine someone who isn't already familiar with the Inhumans being able to follow along.

So, it looks like the movie side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe constantly dragging its feet when it comes to doing any type of female-led project (where is that Black Widow movie we've all been wanting for so long?) means, once again, another notable female superhero from their comic books will be heading to the small screen instead, following Jessica Jones and Inhumans characters Medusa and Crystal. That character in question is Squirrel Girl, whom The Hollywood Reporter notes will star in a New Warriors TV show for Freeform, the network formerly known as ABC Family.

I'm not as familiar with The Inhumans via their comic book appearances as I am with numerous other Marvel comic book characters, but they are the kind of overtly stylized science-fiction nonsense I can groove on rather easily. I mean, the Royal Family of Inhumans contains a guy who can't speak lest he his vocals destroy entire planets, a woman whose hair can tear enemies apart, a fish person and a gigantic teleporting bulldog. When it was announced this Royal Family would be headlining a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to be released in November 2018, well, I was happy as clam.

Two trailers debuted at the New York Comic-Con this weekend that made people everywhere go...."OK". Or maybe that was just me. As a full-on Marvel geek and a guy whose never seen a lick of Power Rangers stuff, these new trailers for the new Iron Fist Netflix show and the new dark n' gritty Power Rangers movie just don't do it for me.  There's been a large amount of rumors swirling around Marvel Television this week, with Heroic Hollywood running an article surrounding a large amount of rumors of what's in development at Marvel Television. Some of it, mainly stuff that isn't Hulk prequel program, sounds cool (although I don't want Ms. Marvel to just get her own show...I'd also like her to be the lead of the Inhumans movie!), but it did get me thinking about the overall state of three current Marvel Television shows.
